“Heavenly Hash,” “like heaven on earth,” “almost heaven”–we use the word “heaven” in colloquial language all the time. Yet most of the time, earth consumes our thoughts, concerns, and efforts. For those who reject the supernatural, the phrases “like Valhalla on earth” or “almost Mt. Olympus” will do just fine, since in the mind of the materialist, the physical universe is all there is.
But what good reason can be given for rejecting the supernatural? For a multitude of reasons that I’ve been offering here for months now, I firmly believe there is a supernatural. And as part of God’s creation, heaven is as much a reality as the chair I’m sitting in while I type this. In a way, it’s more real. Continue reading
